The Room 14 Blogger Machines

The players walked out from a hallway and started to sing the National Anthem. Hayley Westenra began to sing followed by All Blacks and the crowd. My whole family including me were at a friends house in Every Street. We were at the Every Street Lodge.

I was in a different room to the adults. My friend, Lilly and I had our own lounge with our own food. We sat down on the big smooth comfortable sofa and switched the television on. 

The All Blacks had just finished the Haka and they were going to their starting places. They all looked nervous but the cheer from the crowd made them think, we need to win for our country.

The referee blew the whistle and the game began, the doors were open to the adults lounge and I could hear them cheering and screaming with joy.

I joined in with them and started to chant, “All Blacks, All Blacks, Mighty All Blacks.”

Lilly saw her All Blacks crush Sonny Bill Williams so she went to kiss him on the TV. The All Blacks scored their first try and I heard the dogs Jack and Nolly barking for food.

We went to the room they were in and we let them come into our lounge.
They ate all the food off the floor and we gave them lots more until they layed down on the ground and went to sleep.

One day I was fishing in the Amazon River. I was hoping to get some trout but I got something else that was very deadly. It was a prana I could see it jumping up and down. I thought it was to dangerous to have so I was going to chuck it in the river when suddenly a massive crocodile came out it was chasing me everywhere It was probably wanting the prana when I got home it was still in my bag it was very close to death so I quickly put it in my spa it was fine now

If i could pick a animal to keep, I would have a Black and White pet Panda. And i would call it Norbit. it would have to be a big panda with alot of fur. i would give him a big thick piece of bamboo, most of the time to eat. the sound of a panda that i think it will make is a angry kinda roar noise. I would put my panda in the backyard with a little fence across him but can still go over it, and I would put a grass patch under him to make him feel like he comes from the zoo or something. And i would put some pine trees in the little fence that i made. Then I would teach him how to shake hands and to salute to me sometimes because it would be funny. If i ever did get a panda it would be a dream come true. THE END. By D’Angelo Wade

Dear Ms Kerr

I think we should get a pet fish! Yes! A pet fish! If you think they would smell, you could have people clean the tank every week, they could also feed the fish.

If you think their expensive you’re wrong, their cheaper than you think and so is the food because It last’s for a long time.

I think that It would be fun for lunch-times and play-times if It’s raining or cold. Also I’m sure nobodies allergic to It and they don’t take up much space.

Have you ever seen a chicken in a cage? Well. I have and here’s the thing, I think it is cage cruelty.

My first reason is I think this is horrible because of the cage. Those poor chickens squished in cages, people should stop putting the chickens in cages! All I’m saying, they just need space, and it must be so annoying for them. All the chickens would hate it because they get squashed and hurt.

My second reason is that they need a real chicken home for space to lay their eggs and they need room to eat corn feed and drink water. If they weren’t in a real chicken home they would need an enormous cage so all the chickens have enough room.

My third and final reason is that they need to be able to sleep at night. If they are stuck in a cage they will shiver all night, I find that’s poor! I mean really, they need to be in a proper, cosy, warm chicken home!

People should not do this. It’s cruelty!

In Room14 at the start of the year we did a philosophy. A philosophy is what you think life should be like for instance I think life should be like a strong beautiful building that will never full down because we will stand forever no-matter what happens were always there. These are some of our philosophy’s and we hope you like them.

Harry M’s Philosophy I think life should be good and special. And full of good moments, because it makes everyone feel happy. I think the most important thing in life is with family and friends. I want everyone to remember that life is brilliant and happy.

Cameron’s Philosophy
I think that life should be full of happy people and joy because it is much better than being sad. It should be also be full of family and friends. I want people to remember to be nice to the others.

Grace C.T’s Philosophy.
I think that life should be full of wonderful friendships that last forever, and cute animals! I think that the most important thing in life is friendship, because you have such an amazing time with friends. I want everyone to remember that Earth’s our home, so we can’t pollute it.

I think life should be like a full bloom thats around every year because were around every year and we will never loose our happyness just like the flower that never dies. I think life should be like a bright sunflower if not the world will be plain or no fun and the world will be just boring. I think life should be happy and cheerful like the childrens faces on a hot summers day because when it is hot we are cheerful and happy. I think life should be like the sun is shining inside everyone because then people would be cheerful. I think the most important thing in life is family. I think that because they help you so you should help them back. I want everyone to remember you need to think before you say things.

i think the most important thing in my life is my puppy muffin because she is loving, pretty, beautiful, cool, fluffy, warm she is the most adorable dog in my whole life. the last thing is she is a femail bitchon frise/chiwiwa mix.

I want every one to rember my 6 cats and my pregant kitten scabbers. and my 6 cats names are scabbers, mr whiskers, mr mangy, bob, gismo, peewee and my nanas dog and 4 cats are called evil, fluf, ying, yang and the dogs name is muffin.

Zac’s philosophy

I think life should be full of happy times and fun places because their wouldn’t be any fights and then everyone would be happy.

I think that the most important thing in life is school, family and friends. Because they will always be their for you.

I want everyone to remember to get a good education. Because if you don’t get a education you won’t get a good life and life is all about having fun, sports, p.e, music and life is just like a box of chocolates and flowers.

Room 14 Faces on PhotoPeach

On the 11th of November, Room 14 did a technology challenge. The reason why we did a challenge was to practice for the Technology Challenge day. Room 14′s challenge was who could make the strongest and tallest tower that could be free-standing.

One group were doing really well. It even touched the roof. But the only problem was that they stapled it to close to the top and it fell down because it wasn’t balanced properly. Another group made a small round sculpture that looked sort of like a Roller-Coster. Another group made a tallish tower that came third. Lastly, the winning group made the tallest tower that nearly looked identical to the Eiffel Tower. Most of the towers were based on the Eiffel Tower.

Technology Challenge on PhotoPeach

Last night a group of St Clair School children went to a performance called South Zone.
They sung nine songs and played on the recorder, guitar, marimba , train whistle and ukelele for rocking train.
The nine songs were:

*Made in New Zealand
*Weather with You.
*You Raise Me Up
*Man in the Mirror
*Sing the World Around
*Sweet Child of Mine
Seven schools participated. The schools were St Bernadettes, Collage St, Fourbury, Caversham, Us, Carlton hill and St Patricks.

There was a show in the afternoon called a matinae and an evening show.
